Manny is cheerful and oblivious to the horrors of the world. Like Scout, she does not remember how she ended up on the asteroid, nor does she remember her life on Earth. Her pure nature traps her on Megaleda-44, as she does not see a reason to enter Combat. Instead she sleeps in the Forgotten Garden, talking to the Space Urchins, gazing at the green windows and pondering the runes. This innocence is embraced by the Urchins, in particular one Urchin has a protective dynamic toward her, sheltering her from the dangers of her Download Crystal, should she ever locate it. Luckily, her Crystal is long lost.
